Social Media is tricky. On the one hand, we see the destruction it brings with addictions, destruction of self-worth, and flat out meanness. On the other hand, social media can be used for the good in shedding light on issues that need to be brought to light, helping people in need, and getting Christian truth out to a broader audience that the local church. It is time for The Rock to wholeheartedly enter into the social media world for God’s glory, to help communicate as a church, and to spread God’s love to more people. Here are some specific action items for ALL of us:

1) Follow The Rock on all social media platforms (Do it now!). Instagram: The Rock Covenant Church - therockchurchmb. Facebook: The Rock Covenant Church - @therockmb.

2) Get someone else to follow The Rock.

3) Whenever you see a post… First, like the post. Second, comment on the post. Third, share the post (in your story or account). Fourth, interact with anyone else commenting. Each of these will help spread our message to more people.

4) Become a part of The Rock Social Media Team. Take pictures and be available to help Kara communicate with our church. Let Curt know if you are interested.

5) Share pictures from any Rock events with Kara or Curt.

6) Participate! Use, use, use our social media platforms!

Children's Ministry

We are providing live Sunday School starting Sunday, Sept. 20!

Here is the plan: Children will be with their parents for the singing portion of the service. Children will be dismissed after singing to meet with Cameron and Courtney outside near the playground outside of the auditorium. Cameron will plan a short lesson, have a group activity, and supervise some free play. At the end of the service, Cameron will walk the children back to where we meet. This is 100% voluntary for parents. Your children are also welcome to be with you during the service. We believe this can be done in a safe and organized way. All activities will be outside. Every child will be encouraged to keep their masks on. We will do the best we can to encourage distance.
