This week’s email is devoted to prayer. I am calling us to pray today for the following:

1) Mercy for our world, nation, and community in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.

2) Continued healing from the national racial unrest. Real justice for the marginalized and oppressed. Genuine change and reform where necessary. Continued prayer for God’s wisdom and grace for all image bearers of God..

3) Bold witness to our community for Jesus. Pray this would be a time of inviting and encouraging people to join us on Sunday. We are in a unique position to welcome people in a safe, outdoor setting.

4) For the hurting, suffering, and depressed. There are those among us and those in the community that are in pain. Let’s pray for God’s mercy on them.

5) For our leaders in government to lead well and courageously during these times. We are called to pray for those in authority.

As we pray together let’s join as one in our prayer and dependence on God!

SPECIAL NOTE: This Sunday is Communion Sunday. We have cancelled our bring your own food for after church meal due to latest outbreak of virus in Los Angeles. WE WILL STILL MEET OUTSIDE FOR SERVICE!!!

We are meeting outside at Manhattan Beach Pre-School for our Sunday Service at 4:30 pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, masks and Bibles! For a complete copy of our guidelines for re-opening CLICK HERE.
