PLEASE NOTE: SERVICE TIME CHANGE TO 3:30
We live a complicated existence. On the one hand, we desperately want to be independent and handle life’s challenges without help. There is a cultural value that says, “I’m strong and can do it on my own!” On the other hand, we feel lonely and longing for help. We can feel like the struggles and pain of life overwhelm us. How can we reconcile the two? The simple answer is we can’t. Something has to give.
Putting your faith and trust in God is our only hope. God alone can enter in and rescue us from our struggles and pains of this life. God is our help. God is our comfort. God is our peace. And the only way to live out this faith is to give up trying to live as if you don’t need anyone else. We must acknowledge we need help. We are called to humble ourself before God and accept His loving, caring help. We cry out to God that we need rescue! When we humble ourselves and accept God’s help, He delivers salvation, hope, peace, comfort, and eternal rest.
Let’s gather together and remember that God is our rescuer! Let’s remind ourselves that God has come to bring peace. God rescues and answers prayer this holiday season!
Please take note of ways to gather for Sunday Service at The Rock:

Children's Ministry
We are providing live Sunday School starting Sunday, Sept. 20!
Here is the plan: Children will be with their parents for the singing portion of the service. Children will be dismissed after singing to meet with Cameron and Courtney outside near the playground outside of the auditorium. Cameron will plan a short lesson, have a group activity, and supervise some free play. At the end of the service, Cameron will walk the children back to where we meet. This is 100% voluntary for parents. Your children are also welcome to be with you during the service. We believe this can be done in a safe and organized way. All activities will be outside. Every child will be encouraged to keep their masks on. We will do the best we can to encourage distance.
