I’ve really missed gathering as a church. I’ve missed greeting people as they walk in the door. I’ve missed singing together. I’ve missed hearing people read the Word of God. I’ve missed hearing people pray. I’ve missed preaching while connecting with people in person. I’ve missed standing and sending everyone out with a benediction. I’ve missed talking, reflecting, laughing, and sharing life after service. Can we get back together soon? Yes!

I believe it is possible to come back together while being respectful to government authorities, loving our neighbor well, and maintaining our witness to the community. The Board has evaluated the government recommendations together with God’s higher law and come up with a safe, workable way to gather back together on June 14th. This is a work in process and we will give detailed guidelines before we gather.

The general plan is to meet at the school on an outdoor, grassy area. This checks many of the boxes in gathering back safely. It is outside. We will use our own chairs. We avoid most indoor high touch areas. We will continue to provide some sort of virtual, online viewing of the service. I pray it will have a outdoor picnic/concert/party vibe. Let us celebrate Jesus and the work he has done and is doing in our lives!

So THIS WEEK we will be on Zoom. Next week (June 14) we will be outside at church.

Join us for our Sunday Service at 4:30 pm on Zoom using the invite HERE (or Zoom meeting invite 551-112-403).

"And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” - Acts 4:31
