Examining one’s life using the “Past, Present, and Yet to Come” formula is a hallmark of the Christmas season thanks to Charles Dickens. One of the reasons that “A Christmas Carol” is so long-lasting and beloved is because it rings true in our lives. We can relate to examining our lives in this way and I believe we can grow because of it!

This Sunday at The Rock we will use the “Past, Present, and Yet to Come” formula to contemplate our faith. My prayer is it will be a fruitful exercise to encourage us to grow closer to Jesus in 2020. Let us gather together this Sunday to encourage one another in our personal faith in Jesus!

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." - 2 Peter 3:18

Children's Ministry

This week Rock Kids will be digging into the story of Jesus healing an official's son, found in John 4:43-54. The kids will learn the Bible point "Jesus is amazing, so we believe in him." Kids may feel as if they don't get to see Jesus do many amazing things in their lives. But Jesus encouraged the father in the Bible story to believe even without seeing signs & wonders. We want to help kids trust that Jesus is amazing because of all the things they know he's done, and help them take notice of his small but no less amazing miracles, like a heartbeat or a beautiful day.
